U-Pilot ship operation and net landing

U-Pilot flight control system has reached an important milestone as it allows the operation from boats and recovering the vehicle using a landing net.

Using the most advanced positioning techniques, the UAV Usol K-05 has safely landed in a net subject to the movements of the sea. For this, the positioning acuracy reached by U-Pilot has a margin of error of only 2 centimeters.

During the test performed at sea, the manageable K-05 has flawlessly completed a series of flights, landing autonomously against a net placed at the stern of the boat.

The operation of unmanned vehicles from ships is extremely useful for surveillance applications, border control or countering the drug trafficking.
